NCIDQ

National Council for Interior Design Qualification

The National Council for Interior Design Qualification serves to identify to the public those interior designers who have met the minimum standards for professional practice by passing the NCIDQ examination.  It is the only interior design exam developed and administered in the United States and Canada by an agency that is independent from interior design organizations.

The NCIDQ exam is offered twice a year, the first weekend in April and October. Locations will be announced. The six-part exam is administered over a two-day period. It is possible to take sections independent of one another.

For specific information regarding requirements and fees, visit the NCIDQ website at www.ncidq.org.
